Liam Harrison vs Tetsuya Yamato for the YOKKAO World Title -65kg!
Breaking news: After a flashmeeting between fighters and promoters, YOKKAO officially announces that Liam Harrison vs Tetsuya Yamato will be valid for the YOKKAO World Title -65kg. Doungjai Tananan, President of YOKKAO Boxing states: "the YOKKAO World Title is born from the common decision of our promoters to determine who is the best Muay Thai fighter in the World. As per our regulation, due to Pakorn's three successive losses in a row, the YOKKAO World Title is officially vacant. The fact that one of Pakorn’s losses was against Tetsuya Yamato, already scheduled to fight Liam Harrison at YOKKAO 17, will give once again to Muay Thai fans the possibility to know who will be the best Muay Thai fighter -65kg in the World."
With Muay Thai Federations emerging every year, the YOKKAO World Title is now considered by fans one of the hardest World Titles to win as there are no Federation limits or affiliations required for fighters in order to have the chance to fight for it. From 2016, fighters who fight for the YOKKAO World Title will not only have access to an unprecedented visibility, but they will also receive a sponsorship contract which will add them to the biggest Muay Thai Team ever: the YOKKAO Fight Team.
