We are proud to announce the second match-up and the first female bout for YOKKAO 47-48 that will take place on 7 March 2020. Set to be the third chapter of a trilogy, UK fan-favorite Niamh Kinehan will return to the University of Bolton Stadium to take on French fighter, Nora Cornolle.
The pair have already met in the ring twice in 2017, fighting under Muay Thai and K1 rules on the two separate occasions. They walked away with a draw in their first Muay Thai meet and Cornolle took the win via decision when they fought 2 months later under kickboxing rules. Third time is going to be a treat for UK fight fans in what is certain to be an epic battle.
Holding a record of 35 wins in 45 fights, Cornolle is an experienced French fighter with five national titles under her belt. She has competed in both Muay Thai and kickboxing, fighting against top opponents from France as well as Thailand. Training out of France’s Oby Fight gym, Cornolle will be making her promotional debut against one of UK’s very best female fighters, Niamh Kinehan.
With three YOKKAO appearances to date, Kinehan has become a staple on our UK fight cards. The current UK number one has maintained a perfect record on our promotion including two knockout wins to date. Kinehan will be going all-out to even the score on home ground against Cornolle.
Kinehan vs Cornolle joins the highly-anticipated main event featuring UK legend, Liam Harrison taking on Jeremy Payet from France. YOKKAO 47-48 VIP tickets are officially sold out. Gold Outer Ringside, Silver and Bronze Standard tickets are available at https://uk.yokkao.com/events/yokkao-47-48.
