He has regularly fought in France and in Europe and in 2008 he won the WFC World Muay Thai title. The next year, 2008 saw him slightly more active with three professional fights, while 2009 saw him be even more active with five fights over the year.

2009 saw him take on and win against Damien Alamos in France after a three-round bout. Houcine would take the win via decision against a fighter who would later become one of the few foreigners to hold a Lumpinee Championship belt.

2010 had Houcine take on well-regarded Anuwat Kaewsamrit, also known as “The Iron Hands of Siam.” Houcine took a loss but a good performance against the hard-hitting boxer at a La Nuit Des Titans show. His next fight saw him drop a decision to Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee at a Sherdana K-1 Gala event.

Houcine was able to redeem himself in 2011 though when he won the 65kg Explosion Fight Night tournament beating out Ekapol June by liver shot in the second and Charles Francois in the second by TKO.

He continued to fight internationally and battled Singmanee Kaewsamrit twice for Thai Fight. Winning one bout and losing the next a month later in 2012. The next year saw him saw him take on and win a decision against Imwiset Pornnarai at YOKKAO Extreme in Milan Italy.

Houcine’s next battle was a tough contest as he took on pound for pound king of the ring Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym at Siam Warriors in Cork Ireland. Houcine lost a points decision battle.

He battled Damien Alamos again for a Thai Max championship at 143lbs but lost to the French fighter after defeating Somsak, and Sergio Wielzen in the tournament.

Yokkao 8 hosted Houcine again as he took on well-regarded Liam Harrison. He fought Harrison in Harrison’s home country of England on a show that is regularly held in Bolton. Houcine, after five rounds of action, took a decision loss.

Since his points loss to Harrision on the Yokkao show, Houcine has not been super active with only 3 fights over the next 3 years. He currently still trains out of Team Nasser.
